Dear Mother Nature,
I just want to say, right up front, I love what you've done with the place. The seasons, coming and going, are each a feast for the eyes; particularly if you live out in the country. Your ability to make even a simple field seem idyllic in all conditions is basically, the coolest thing about you.
Now, I realize there are a lot of idiots in the world who have decided that you don't really matter. I'm not one of them, but I can understand how angry you probably are. I mean, I'd be pissed if, every hour of every day, someone came by and left their filthy leavings in my yard, so I can only imagine how pissed you are at it happening all over the world.
I would probably want revenge too.
Just, please, don't take it out on the Northeast... again. Really, we get the picture. Three major snowstorms in the span of a month seems a little extreme, particularly when there are other, more deserving, areas. Like Arizona. Or Texas. Really, any of those states that feel it's better to let big business turn the world into their own private latrine. Massachusetts? We're full of tree-hugging hippy types. We're on your side; for the most part.
Just, think about it. Please?
