So, after my beautiful ride down to Connecticut, I wound up having to leave the bike down there due to a really rainy day. I didn't have any rain gear with me, since I didn't think I would need it; the forecast was in my favor. "It's ok," I thought, "I'll just head down next weekend and pick it up." Not a chance, apparently.
The next weekend I was on-call and I didn't feel comfortable leaving the state in case there was an emergency at work. This was a problem, because it was, basically, a really nice weekend.
The following weekend, Irene decided to drop in for a visit.
This coming weekend, following what is supposed to be an absolutely gorgeous week, is supposed to rain again. I've fucking had it with this particularly rainy summer this year.
